1. How can I become a member?

You can join online by going to the following webpage, log in using your existing account or create a new one: http://www.insciat.org/submission/ or you can contact the membership department by email (membership@insciat.org).


2. What are the advantages of being a member of INSCIAT?

As a member, you'll be presented with new resources and valuable opportunities that will help you advance your career in the right direction. Furthermore, INSCIAT members benefit of special discounts at INSTICC conferences. More information at http://www.insciat.org/membership.html.


3. Can I apply for an INSCIAT grant, if I have a paper accepted at an INSCIAT conference?

If you belong to an economically challenged region of the World or if you have financial difficulties that hinder your presence at an INSCIAT conference you may contact the Financial Department (finance@insciat.org) to ask for a grant that might partially contribute to alleviate or waive altogether your registration fees.


4. How can my company, research group, department, institute, university become an academic partner?

INSCIAT welcomes institutional partners, either academic or of other natures. Many of them are listed at http://www.insciat.org/partnership.html. A representative may contact our Partnership Department by email (partnership@insticc.org).


5. Could I send news about my research or my group/institution to be advertised at INSCIAT website?

Yes, INSCIAT is always keen to disseminate research ideas, projects, results and news involving the international research community, especially INSCIAT members. You will need to have an account. You can go to http://www.insciat.org/submission.html to login or to create an account. Then you will find a form that facilitates the insertion of news, including text, images and even videos, if you want. You can also contact our Secretariat by email (secretariat@insciat.org) to submit your news.


6. How can I organize a workshop in conjunction with the conference?

Prospective workshop organizer should contact INSCIAT Secretariat to receive the approval for workshop session by email (secretariat@insciat.org). If workshop proposal is approved by INSCIAT, the workshop organizer should provide the title, topics, and program committee members of the workshop. Workshop organizer is exempt from the conference registration fees.


7. How can I apply for the Section or Student Branch of INSCIAT?

Please contact the Community Department (community@insciat.org). Our staffs will provide the related forms for you. What you need to do is to fill in and send them by an email.


8. What are the requiements for the section of INSCIAT?

As a basic operational organizational unit of INSCIAT, the section must meet the following requirements,

  1. The chair of Section of INSCIAT must be a professor or a PhD who has a certain influence in his/her field of study;
  2. Constituted by a minimum of ten (10) members;
  3. Established with the approval of INSCIAT by petition of those who live/work in relatively close proximity to be served by activities that meet their needs and further the missions of INSCIAT;
  4. The section organizes at least one academic activity each year, and publishes the results of academic activities in the form of free papers in INSCIAT related publications. And the annual number of papers is not less than six.

9. What benefits can I enjoy if I establish a section of INSCIAT?

As a section of INSCIAT, it will get technical or financial supports of INSCIAT. The Section of INSCIAT can enjoy the financial supports of $1,050 per year and the technical supports of website design, paper typesetting, etc.

Section can organize academic conferences or other academic events in their local area, conferences or academic events will be available on the INSCIAT Conferences & Events list and which can be published in INSCIAT proceedings or journals free of charge. Charges for participants of the conferences or events will be used for the daily activities of Section.


10. What benefits can I enjoy if I establish a student branch of INSCIAT?

As a student branch of INSCIAT, it will get technical or financial supports of INSCIAT. The student branch of INSCIAT can enjoy the financial supports of $450 per year and the technical supports of website design, paper typesetting, etc.

Student Branch can organize academic conferences or other academic events in their local area, conferences or academic events will be available on the INSCIAT Conferences & Events list and which can be published in INSCIAT proceedings or journals free of charge. Charges for participants of the conferences or events will be used for the daily activities of Student Branch.


11. What are the requiements for the student branch of INSCIAT?

The student branch must meet the following requirements,

  1. The chair of student branch of INSCIAT must be a doctoral or master student;
  2. Constituted by a minimum of eight (8) members;
  3. Established with the approval of INSCIAT by petition of those who live/work in relatively close proximity to be served by activities that meet their needs and further the missions of INSCIAT;
  4. The student branch organizes at least one academic activity each year, and publishes the results of academic activities in the form of free papers in INSCIAT related publications. And the annual number of papers is not less than five.
